Oversees daily activities of operating, repairing, calibrating, and adjusting building systems, including boiler and boiler house equipment. Completes inspections and ensures safe operations through adherence to regulatory requirements.

Human Resources
Rewards & Wellness
The Rewards & Wellness function is responsible for the design and administration of employee benefit and wellness programs (health, retirement, short-term leaves, and long-term leaves) to ensure competitive and cost-effective benefits policies and practices. Also responsible for the assessment and alignment of benefits practices with local, state, and federal regulations. Prepares accurate and timely payroll for the institution. Maintains payroll records, prepares reports to meet internal and external obligations. Responsible for the design and implementation of competitive compensation programs.
Employee Relations
The Employee Relations function designs, implements, assesses, and administers employee relations policies and practices related to performance management, employee development, employee engagement, attendance, leave, and grievance procedures. Develops and implements measures to increase employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction, while reducing turnover. Supports the employee relations needs by providing consultative and training services to management and employees.
HRIS/Records
Provides administrative support for the maintenance and accuracy of employee records, including processing new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. Assists in compiling employee data for reports and statistical analysis. Enters and updates employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Reviews records for both current and former employees to ensure data integrity and completeness. Performs data entry for personnel documents such as appointment notices, job changes, terminations, and cost allocations. Manages queries, updates, and ongoing maintenance of employee data across automated HR systems.
HR Services & Generalist
The HR Services & Generalist function develops, manages, coordinates, administers, and implements human resource strategy to attract, manage, develop, and retain the employees it needs to achieve its current and future objectives. May serve as an advisor and functional expert on human resources activities, policies and procedures for an assigned division or department. Provides support to employees through the human resources policies and procedures.

The Payroll function is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee wages, salaries, and deductions. They will maintain payroll records, ensure compliance with relevant laws, handle payroll queries, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

The Staff Development function manages the training and development programs for staff, including developing and delivering training content and coordinating the use of externally developed training programs, to foster employee learning and development to drive performance, productivity and results.

Data Analytics
The Data Analytics function is responsible for leveraging data to support decision-making, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. Information Security
The Information Security function develops and manages data, system, and network security architecture. Develops, enforces and audits security policies and procedures such as access, breach escalation, use of firewalls, and encryption routines. Updates, maintains, and documents security controls and provides direct support to the business and internal IT groups for security related issues. Evaluates and recommends security products, services, and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
IT Support
The IT Support function provides services and training to students, faculty and staff to address information technology issues with hardware and software. May include technical support for University-owned or personal devices, as well as application support. Acts as liaison between customer and other technical units.
Network Administration & Operations
The Network Administration & Operations function installs, configures, administers, supports, and maintains computer network systems to ensure optimal performance. Activities include monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving problems, implementing back-up and security procedures, and training network users.
Systems Administration
The Systems Administration function is responsible for supporting a multiuser computing environment. Ensures continuous, optimal performance of IT services/system, adequate security parameters, and sound implementation of established information system policies and procedures.
Web Development
The Web Development function plans, develops and implements website applications. Designs the technical architecture of websites, ensuring that websites run effectively and meet the University's needs and requirements.

Legal Services
The Legal Services function provides legal advice, where applicable, and counsel or performs paralegal work in research and legal data collection.
