Dependent insurance can be billed. The Jackson County Health Department (JCHD) will administer the immunizations.

If you are a retiree or a survivor of a State employee, you will be required to provide your state health insurance card and one type of picture identification.  Retirees and survivors will be required to provide their red, white and blue Medicare card if you are enrolled in Part B coverage.

The JCHD can bill most private insurance plans. If you have a dependent(s) who would like to receive a flu vaccine, please bring a copy of their insurance card to the clinics.  To verify if your health insurance is accepted, please call 618-684-3143, x119.  Cash, check, or Illinois Medicaid is also accepted. (Credit and debit cards are accepted only at the health department location.)

Students, graduate assistants, and teaching assistants may receive immunizations at the Student Health Center. Please contact their office directly to schedule an appointment.
